About us

WISTECON (Stefan Wirtz Communication Network) is a young company and was only founded by Stefan Wirtz at the beginning of 2024.

Wirtz was permanently employed at the company for twenty-seven years until June 2023. West German BroadcastingHe was, among other things, head of communications and corporate spokesperson for WDR for several years – during this time also serving as spokesperson for ARD. Most recently, he was strategy coordinator in the program management department under program director Jörg Schönenborn. To this day, Wirtz represents WDR in the Historical Commission of the ARD.

In previous years, he also gained extensive experience in a wide variety of fields – for example, as head of the WDR Media Library, many years as the responsible editor at WDR of Hard but fair (WDR / ARD) or also as head of service at Schreinemakers Live (Sat.1 / RTL).

WISTECON Depending on the project, it cooperates closely with experienced and well-known production companies.
